Five questions, in this order. The fifth takes your causal claim and commits it, on the record, before any deduction runs. If the machine later disagrees with you, that disagreement is finally worth something.

The five answers you just gave become arithmetic. The respondent ranks five consequences 1–5. Rank 1 contributes 1.00, rank 5 contributes 0.20. A consequence they did not rank contributes nothing at all — it is absent from the sum, not entered as a zero. The multiplier applies only where their stated focus and the deduced path agree.
